James' camper is ideal for a road trip around Scotland. It has everything you need and is easy to drive on Scottish roads. It is the perfect way to drive across the Highlands and the NC500.
James has been excellent to deal with. He has always been available to help us and solve our doubts, both before and during the trip. I would not hesitate to repeat!

What a week away in this campervan! Let me start with James, what a pleasure to hire the camper from him, from the minute we booked it to the minute we returned it James was there for any questions we needed answering and was always very quick with a response, The camper itself has everything you need, it's stunning inside and out and very comfortable to drive, We done the NC500 and it's perfect for the roads up the north of Scotland, we would definitely recommend hiring this campervan if you are making this sort of trip

It was fantastic! James was wonderful, super flexible and responsive. The van was in a great condition and we had no issues on our travels. It made the perfect home for us for a few nights - we didn't eat in much as we were at a wedding, but the kitchen was well stocked (we bought a cafatiere with us to make coffee in the morning) but there was a kettle and a couple of pots and pans etc. We would definitely rent again!

James is a pleasure to deal with and made the whole rental process very easy. Mr Shady is a lovely camper van, drives great and is well appointed. Perfect for our week long NC500 trip!

We hired James’ campervan for 5 days to sightsee around Scotland. The campervan was fab- perfect for me and my husband and our 2 small children. James was so helpful and was quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend his campervan

James, has made our experience very fruitful and enjoyable. The van is excellent in condition - we have no issues throughout the time the Van was given to us. If you are in Scotland, and need a very good run Van-Home that's reliable and well cleaned and run well. I suggest you consider James Van, you won't regret it. It was perfect for us, a family of three for our weekend away in Scotland. Besides, James is reachable and easy to communicate with it.

A cracking van that has everything thing you need for a camping trip. The night heater is a saviour if it's cold outside and gets the van nice and cosy very quickly.
James spent the time to explain things and all in all everything was hassle free.

A great van that drew some jealous glances at various campsites. Very clean and well kitted out with everything you'd need. James took time to explain how everything worked at pick-up and his communication throughout the process was excellent. Only problem now is that my 9-yo son is demanding we get one of our own just like it.

I had a fantastic trip away, the campervan really made the whole munro bagging trip much more comfortable which helped extend my trip. The campervan is well kitted out, in great condition with everything you need to have a great trip. James is very helpful and knowledgeable about the van. I’ll be booking again, and looking forward to another Scottish highland adventure.

Brilliant all round experience. We hired the campervan for a week and could’ve stayed on the road for another week or two no problem. James communication was second to none and was extremely accommodating. We loved the campervan, with it’s top notch specifications and condition, we even welcomed lots of interested people wanting to see around it. We would definitely rent this van from James again. Highly recommended.

The camper is fine and new, but the interaction with the owner is not worth the van. He was more than an hour late at the picking up meeting point and surcharged us 100 GBP for a late return (!), although we had agreed through several writen messages on the returning time. Unfortunately, these were not the only difficulties we had with him...

unfortunatly its impossible to please some people i could have gave them the van for free and they would still complain and the state they left van in was tottaly unaceptable wouldnt let them near it again.

We hired the van for 3 days and we were 3 people (all adults). The van is equiped and is very comfortable for 3 people.
The van was brand new like, very cleaned, fully equiped and very easy to ride with.
James helped us with whatever we needed and also, when wen dropped off the van, he took us to the train station.
Personally, i would recommend this van 100%.

James Campervan really is special, I had to treat it like my own and be so careful with it. Shady really gets heads turning and many people in the campsite had to come up to look at it.
It really is some machine and loved every minute in it.
Meeting James was easy and he was laided back and explained everything.
All went well and not expensive for what your getting. Definitely hire again and wish I could afford one myself one day.

James' camper was perfect for our needs! It came equipped with a two-bike rack that was easy to use, and the pop-top made it nice and roomy for night time. It is well insulated and kept us warm down to temps around 5-10c at night, without needing to use the heater at all. Fridge and propane stove made it quick and easy to do breakfast on the road.
